Important Questions for McCain

A website called The Jed Report is claiming that John McCain has something of a gambling problem:
Wes Gullett, a close friend who worked for McCain for years, told me that they used to play craps in Las Vegas in fourteen-hour stints, standing at the tables from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Now, The Jed Report is calling McCain out for gambling with shady lobbyist Wes Gullett, but ignoring the important questions the public needs to know:

  1. Was McCain making pass/come bets, and taking full odds, or was he throwing his money away on dumbass Big Six-Big Eight bets?
  2. Was McCain betting "Don't" like a schmuck?
  3. Why was McCain gambling at the hoity toity Bellagio, instead of with the regular folks at the Luxor or Harrah's?
  4. Why was McCain betting in a place that offers 3/4/5 odds when he could have crossed the street to Casino Royale and been playing with 100X odds?

Hopefully a McCain staffer will soon resolve these troubling issues.

At least this proves McCain is physically fit to be president. On those arthritic, POW-injured legs of his, McCain can stand for 14 hours at the craps table.

Now that's impressive. You gotta admit: FDR couldn't have done that.
