Dunk the President, Win a Prize

Rep. Wilson Outburst Leads Senate Dems to Close Loophole in Health Reform Bill
In the Senate, Democrats in the so called "Gang of Six," began moving quickly to close the loophole Rep. Joe Wilson helped bring to light with his outburst during President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday night.

And there you have it. All you have to do to get the President to swing legislation your way is call him a liar during a joint session of congress. After the Van Jones debacle and the Yosi Sargant fiasco, it's apparent that Fearful Leader will bend over forewards to anyone that insults him. Maybe if I change my voter registration to Republican and spit in his face, I'll get a free car.

I thought the speech did the job it was supposed to, but I am still deeply irked about the administration's failure to really call the bastards out.

The idea that they caved to a certifiable lunatic like Glenn Beck is beyond infuriating.
