It's like that

Hey Ralph Peters, what is the conflict in Georgia similar to?

This is the most cynical military operation by a "European" power since Moscow invaded Afghanistan in 1979.

This invasion recalls Hitler's march into Czechoslovakia

It also resembles Hitler's invasion of Poland

Reminds me of 1956, when we encouraged the Hungarians to defy Moscow - then abandoned them.

And of 1991, when we prodded Iraq's Shia to rise up against Saddam - then abandoned them.

Okay, let's save time: is there any event that this conflict isn't similar to?

As if that weren't enough, there's also Fox Prolefeed's woeful misadventure in stupidity, otherwise known as implying that the defence of an oil pipeline running across the Republic of Georgia is one with "American energy independence."

But of course! This event is in NO WAY SIMILIAR to invading and occupying Iraq.

Cause that was for freedom!
