As someone who remembers the bad old days of NYC subway beggars (torso on a skateboard guy, my baby needs pampers guy) I want to salute the new generation that has enlivened the #6 line. This morning I saw a Mexican musician performing this chestnut at the 68th Street Station, and it just about made my day.
