Writing Comprehension Problems

Megan McArdle, 2/22/08:

(As an aside, I am afraid that Henry made a common mistake in referring to me as an economist. I am but a lowly MBA, and have never claimed otherwise, but for some reason a lot of my readers are confused.)

Megan McArdle, 4/25/08:

Often when I speak to non-economists, I try to explain things in the terms that they are most likely to understand, rather than the terms that appeared in my Micro textbook.

The reason your readers are confused - When you refer to people that aren't yourself as "non-economists," your readers assume that you are an economist. You're welcome.
