KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) - Torah scrolls with a value of $40,000 to $50,000 have been stolen from a Jewish temple only days before the start of Passover.
Kenosha police Sgt. Hugh Rafferty says Congregation Bnai Zedek Chabad reported the theft Tuesday, although the items likely were taken between April 5 and 15.
