Mallard Fillmore is a classic case of comedic 'affirmative action'. The un-funniest people in the world (conservatives) have to get their dreary, dismal, anti-humorous comic alongside actual hilarity.
Sad, isn't it?
I wish I had more time to analyze the cynicism and short-sightedness of this horrific comic every day. Unfortunatley I don't have that time what with this wonderful job market in the US....but Mallard Fillmore really is ubiquitous. Even innocuous old comics are at least comforting and amusing to those maybe a bit older for whom they were perhaps more adventurous back in the day. But Fillmore just laughs at logic....at any bearing to the real world. It is hack-tacular....
