26 KILLED IN NEPAL CLASHES
New rebel violence killed at least 26 people in Nepal, as political parties continued to defy a government crackdown on protests against King Gyanendra's direct rule over the Himalayan kingdom.
At least 17 rebels, five soldiers, two civilians and a policeman were killed in clashes near the village of Phapar Badi, about 160 kilometres south of Kathmandu.
What's that you say? There have been no protests and no coverage? But how can that be? That's almost saying that guerilla groups are motivated by ideology and not by encouragement from American liberals.. absurd!
